Covid-19 Updated Appointment Policies and Procedures

On 19th July 2021, government guidelines for Covid-19 restrictions changed to guidance, rather than law. As case numbers are still high, some procedures will be kept for the foreseeable future to keep both you, and me, as safe as possible. Your co-operation is appreciated. These procedures will be kept under review and will change as soon as it feels safe to do so. Please ensure you follow them when attending your appointment.

What you need to know – before your appointment:

As before, I will operate on an appointment-only basis

Anyone who is required to be self-isolating, has recently developed a continuous cough, a high temperature, or a change or loss of taste or smell, should postpone their appointment. Any visitor appearing to be unwell or displaying symptoms will be asked to leave for their own safety as well as others.

Appointment length will remain at 90 minutes.  

Any dresses or accessories tried on and all surfaces and touchpoints will be thoroughly cleaned between appointments.

Numbers are limited to the bride plus TWO ADULT GUESTS ONLY for each appointment.   Please note, no additional guests, babies, or children will be admitted. You are welcome to include others via video call and take as many photos as you wish.

What you need to know – during your appointment:

If you wish to register your attendance for NHS Track and Trace purposes, I have in place a QR code, and also a sheet for you to register if you do not have the app.

Hand sanitiser will be provided. Please use this on arrival and before leaving, as well as throughout the appointment as you wish.

Unfortunately, no drinks will be offered at this time, but you are very welcome to bring your own in a non-spill container/bottle. Also, the toilet will only be available in exceptional circumstances as it is located inside my home.

I will continue to wear a face-covering throughout all appointments while Covid cases continue to circulate in large numbers. It is appreciated if you would also continue to wear a face-covering when being assisted into dresses or when having an alteration appointment due to us being in close proximity to each other, and throughout your whole appointment if you are able to.

Time in the fitting room will be kept as short as possible to help limit close contact. Please remain facing forward while I am helping you. I will socially distance myself from you as much as possible throughout the rest of your appointment.

Your guests will be asked to remain seated to enable easier movement around the building. It is also appreciated if you only touch the items that you wish to try on, and ask your guests to do the same. Thank you.

I understand that these guidelines seem quite strict, and you may worry that your appointment won’t be as special as you hoped.  Please rest assured that I will do my absolute best to ensure your experience here, at Lucky Sixpence Bridal, is as perfect as it can be.
